BELLPORT CHAMBER OF COMMERCE RECEIVES $15,000

Last week Legislator Browning presented a check for $15,000 to the Bellport Chamber of Commerce. This money was granted for downtown revitalization and was approved at the Suffolk County Legislatures October legislative meeting. The monies are approved by Suffolk County’s Downtown Citizens Advisory Panel, which scores proposed projects and makes recommendations for funding. Members of the panel are appointed by each Suffolk County Legislator.
