HUNTINGTON TOWNSHIP CHAMBER CHAIRMAN JIM KELLY

Attends Annual “Luau At Sunset” at Crab Meadow Beach

Legislator Steve Stern, Supervisor Frank Petrone, Jim Kelly, Councilman Stuart Besen, Councilwoman Susan Berland and Bob Bontempi, Chairman of the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce.

HUNTINGTON, N.Y.  Suffolk County Legislator Steve Stern (D-Huntington) 16th L.D. awarded a proclamation to outgoing Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce Chairman Jim Kelly, in recognition of his years of dedicated service to the Huntington community at Chamber’s annual “Luau at Sunset” event at Crab Meadow Beach.

Jim Kelly served as Chairman for four years, providing innovative and strong leadership developing new programs including a technology program, a small business program and a veterans committee and was named one of Long Island’s most influential people in 2007, 2008 and 2009.  He also serves on the Board of Advisors of the Huntington Arts Council, helping to ensure the vitality of Huntington’s thriving art community.

“It is my pleasure to award this Proclamation to Jim Kelly and to thank him for his exemplary service to the Huntington Township Chamber,” Legislator Stern said.   “His knowledge, dedication and commitment to the business community of Huntington is deeply appreciated.”
