Take Action Now to Stop Increased Tanger Traffic

Dear Neighbor,

Thank you for visiting my website. The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) is currently considering a proposal to direct motorists from the Long Island Expressway to the Tanger Outlets at the Arches utilizing an “Attractions” sign using Exit 52, Commack Road. Please know that I strongly believe that this proposal is absolutely unacceptable. The ultimate authority to approve the sign is the responsibility of NYSDOT and final approval has not yet been granted. Please take a moment to send the letter linked on this site to the NYSDOT to express your strong opposition to this proposal. Working together, we can help preserve our quality of life and keep our community a great place to live, work and raise our families.

Sincerely,

Steve Stern

No Intermodal: Take Action to Protect the Edgewood Preserve

Dear Neighbor,

Thank you for visiting my website. As you know, I remain strongly opposed to the proposed Intermodal project on the former Pilgrim State property. Legislation is now pending in both the New York State Assembly and the New York State Senate which would transfer those lands permanently to the Edgewood Preserve. This legislation would effectively prevent New York State from building the Intermodal Project on this site. Please take a moment to send the letters linked on this site to these state officials to express your strong support for this legislation. Working together, we can help preserve our environment and our quality of life and keep our community a great place to live, work and raise our families.

Sincerely,

Steve Stern
