Message

I am truly honored to have been re-elected to a second term and would like to take this opportunity to personally thank the residents of the Fourth Legislative District for your continued support and trust. With that support, I vow to faithfully represent my entire district and all of its residents in the Suffolk County Legislature. As a man of the people, I look forward to meeting with all of you. Please feel free to visit my office to meet with either myself or a member of my staff. We will be more than happy to assist you with any of your legislative concerns.

My commitment to my district, and all residents of Suffolk County, is to ensure that your voice is heard. It is my job to listen to the needs of the community and relay those needs to the county government; and as your elected official I will not disappoint.

I currently sit on the Budget and Finance, Public Works and Transportation, and Education and Information Technologies committees. As a member of these committees, I will focus my energy on ensuring fiscal responsibility for the County budget, continuing to modernize our aging County infrastructure and ensuring the level of education here in Suffolk County is top notch, especially at Suffolk County Community College.

My district is located in the heart of Brookhaven Town, encompassing Selden, Centereach and the Brookhaven portion of Ronkonkoma, plus parts of Farmingville, Medford, Coram, Holbrook, Lake Grove and Port Jefferson Station.

Once again, I would just like to encourage any resident of the Fourth District to call upon me for any assistance you may need in dealing with county issues. My staff and I are always willing to lend a helping hand. We can be reached in person at the office, by phone at (631) 854-9292 or by e-mail at Tom.Muratore@suffolkcountyny.gov. Thank you and I look forward to serving you for another two years.
