Message

I am proud to serve as your county legislator for the First Legislative District. In the past several months, I have met many people throughout the entire district who have a strong understanding of what is important to their community. My record on land preservation, environmental protection and supporting local business has resonated with those who do not know me personally but favor this kind of government.

With a twenty-year history of service as a town trustee and an additional seven years as a town board member, I have forged a legacy of bi-partisanship and working in the best interest of the entire community.

Government must serve all the people. This is what I will bring to the table when facing the challenges on the county level, where problems can be resolved through hard work and cooperation.

My legislative priorities include the following:

  • Improving water quality and protecting our environment
  • Continuing to preserve farmland and open space
  • Keeping taxes in check
  • Promoting economic growth
  • Protecting the health and welfare of Suffolk County residents

I encourage my constituents to contact my office with any questions or concerns about Suffolk County issues at 631-852-3200.
