JURISDICTION

This Committee shall have jurisdiction over all matters pertaining to or affecting the County Executive’s Office of the Aging and the County Veterans Service Agency. This Committee shall also deal with any issues, problems, matters, or questions involving senior citizens and veterans at any level of government.

This Committee shall have jurisdiction over the development and/or implementation of any Prescription Drug Programs or initiatives for senior citizens, uninsured people, or underinsured people.

This Committee shall also consider and vote on any appointment to a Board, Commission, Department, Agency, Authority, Task Force, or comparable entity under the jurisdiction of this Committee as well as any outside consultant which may be authorized by this Committee.
